Hi all,
Here is a copy of all the sensors that we own, and are opperable.
- optical backscatter: the fraction of light scattered in the backward direction.
- Solar Irradiance: light propogating downwards in the water column
- Radiance: measurement of the amount of light that passes through a given area.
- chlorophyll concentrations
- colored dissolved organic mater (CDOM) concentrations
- phycoerythrin concentrations
- dissolved oxygen (percent saturation and absolute concentration)
-Aanderra optode
-Bioprobe
-OSU Chipod
-Fishfinder
-FIRE sensor
-Mote Breve Buster
Also, we have an ADCP, which has not been installed but should be ready to work soon.
let me know if you have any questions!

for a kmz-file for GoogleEarth containing the locations of the partner institutions in NORUS (NTNU, UNIS, Cal Poly and Rutgers) and some useful links to the instututions etc.

Members - Robbie Plankenhorn - Background
I am a senior at Cal Poly and currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. I have been working with Dr. Chris Clark and Scott Layton on the OceanServer Iver2 AUV for the NORUS project. For the initial NORUS trip, I plan on getting as much feedback as possible about how I should improve the interface with the AUV. I want to eventually get operating the AUV as seemless as possible so that instead of a technological barrier for biologists, it becomes an easily usable tool that can improve research techniques and the data that they are collecting.
